[player_tooltip player_id='625375' first='Morgan' last='Stewart'] was outstanding in this game, especially in the second half. Morgan did a great job attacking the rim and dishing to players. Morgan hit big shots and bailed out St. John's at the end of possessions a few times. Last week at the Art Turner, I talked about Morgan's elevated role this season and how she has played as the point guard. She had a couple of nice post-ups and did a great job finishing assists. Camille didn't have a massive game rebounding, but she affected the game on the glass with her effort and length. Destiny is a fantastic guard rebounder with her effort and athleticism. Destiny hit a few mid-range jump shots and made a handful of nice passes. She had close to 10 free throws in the first half and was the leading scorer at the break. Autumn knocked down a couple of jumpers in Sidwell Friend's win. That alone helps her be a versatile defender. She blocked 6'2” [player_tooltip player_id='433871' first='Jordyn' last='Jackson']'s jump shot early, which you don't see often. She knocked down some difficult mid-range jumpers, and the offense ran through her. Jaida is a great driver, and she finished some difficult shots at the rim. For most of this game, Central Pointe had more turnovers than points scored, and they had a hard time getting their offense going even when they weren't turning it over.  NyAir McCoy deserves a lot of credit for her tenacity and ability to get her hands on the ball when players are dribbling. Vanessa had a few nice mid-range jumpers, and she did a great job driving the ball. She got to the line a lot and rebounded well. She did a great job attacking the rim, and she had a lot of crafty finishes. Crestwood Prep had a problem getting into DC because of some traffic and weather problems/ so that along with Ireton's hot shooting was big in Crestwood's slow start to this game. Ireton played well as a whole, but Theresa did early was big in Ireton getting a big lead and never looking back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
