Coach Marv’s Fab Five Freshmen from the DMV Freshman Showcase

The 2029 class is a very exciting recruiting class with many talented players at all positions. These players showcased their skill set and competitive fire throughout the day! She consistently facilitated offense for her teammates by utilizing her explosive 1st step and the ability to draw the defense and find open shooters. Serae showcased her high basketball IQ by getting her team set up and executing new plays with new players. Serae consistently finished around the rim with both hands after her dribble attacks. Her athleticism allows her to be a phenomenal rebounder from the guard position. She's also a competitive 2-way player and took great pride in getting defensive stops on the other team's best player. Her communication was very noticeable as she directed players where to go. Kyndall made more tough shots with defenders draped all over her than anyone else on the day. Kyndall consistently attacked the rim, got past her defender, then showcased her dynamic finishing ability. Reverse layups, floaters and pullups were just a few ways she finished around the rim. Kyndall has great ball handling skills and a competitive fire to win as well. It didn't take long for everyone in the building to take notice of her shooting ability. She made deep 3's effortlessly throughout the day! Standing at 5'10" Grace also possesses great length from the guard position. She has a good basketball IQ as well and consistently made all of the right reads. Carsyn has a commanding presence standing at a 6'1" and strong. She is one of a few "<strong>True Post Players</strong>" left in today's guard dominant game. Carsyn consistently demonstrated solid footwork and post moves all day. She can score over either shoulder and has good hands which allows her to secure all rebounds and post entry passes. Her most impressive skill is her shot blocking ability. Carsyn had numerous chase down blocks and help side blocks throughout the day. Nyla can finish in transition and consistently hit the midrange jump shot. She showed why she already has a handful of D1 offers. Her athleticism and length at 5'10" allowed her to regularly score around the rim as well.
