<p>The 2029 Freshman Showcase brought together 93 rising prospects on August 30th, 2025, for a jam-packed four hours of high-level competition. The event featured a mix of predetermined 3v3 and 5v5 matchups, allowing players to showcase their skills in various game settings. One of the things that sets Prep Girls Hoops showcases apart is that every participant receives individual write-ups — a rare and valuable opportunity for these young athletes. My coverage focused on Teams 1, 2, 7, 9, and 10. <strong> </strong>I have selected Eleven Top Performers and one Most Valuable Prospect from these teams based on their performance at The Freshman Showcase.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Nylah earned MVP honors at the PGH Freshman Showcase with her dominant presence in the paint. A strong and physical post player, she controlled the boards on both ends, consistently outworking opponents for rebounds. She established deep position with smart seals, making herself an easy target inside. Once she got the ball, Nylah showed excellent touch around the basket, finishing smoothly with either hand. Her combination of strength, footwork, and finesse made her nearly unstoppable throughout the day.</p>
