Simpson falls into that "I knew her before she was born" group, yet seeing her play the very first time with the [program_tooltip program_id='715312' first='Houston' last='Lady Nets'] before high school, I dropped the #D1Lock on her. With that being said, she has numerous D1 offers on the table, and the long and athletic guard who can be electrifying at times, is on a mission to help lead her team back to the state tournament, where she put on a show and was named MVP

Newsome and Simpson form one of the best twosomes in the region, and after getting a better look at her at the TABC Showcase, see evaluation here, nothing she does will surprise me because her upside hasn't been reached. She falls into that "never takes a play off" group, and she can score inside the paint over taller players; she also rebounds over them, or she can drop it off the dribble as well as from outside. Her defense inside and outside the paint needs to be mentioned as well

Alexander will be a huge X factor for her, and I can say that she's constantly working on her game and, more importantly, adding more to it. Check out the numerous Tip Sheets she's made since crossing the state line from Louisiana last season, see evaluations here. She's "long and athletic" which is the base. She stands at the "magic number" which is 6'0, and she does so many things for her squad other than score, rebound, and defend, that won't show up on a score or stat sheet

Hall, at 6'4, was one of the most sought-after bigs in the area, and her going from basically a back-to-the-basket decoy in those growing years when I caught her in middle school, she has turned into a legitimate threat inside the paint, on both ends. Yeah, her interior defense looked good, yet I was more impressed with her being able to defend outside the paint, and yes, she finished around the basket, but her facing the basket to score has jumped

Young was another Houston Lady Net player I caught in middle school, and she had me so intrigued with her game that I had to find out what her name was. She's smooth under pressure with the ball, yet her ability to apply "on the ball" pressure baseline to baseline is a huge plus. She has quick hands to pick pockets, she plays the passing lane, yet her court vision, as well as scoring from off the dribble or midrange, will be another key to open the door
