The 2025/2026 high school season is almost upon us, and several prospects have changed their locations in search of better opportunities. Some schools were luckier than others and landed multiple impact players. Here is a roundup of who went where and how it should look.

One of the most surprising moves I saw was 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='569091' first='Chloe' last='Mills'] moving from independent Riverdale Baptist to St. Frances Academy in the IAAM. The Panthers are coming off yet another A conference championship and the addition of Mills gives them a deep, four guard rotation that no one else in the Baltimore area can match. She'll join freshman sensation [player_tooltip player_id='1263650' first='Khloe' last='Ison'], Mone't Edwards and [player_tooltip player_id='946905' first='Sanaa' last='Ridley'] to form the backcourt core. They will be hard to unseat as the champions.

Rosedale Christian Academy lost a big piece in senior forward Ayanna Tabb who is enrolled at Wilde Lake High in Howard County. That's a huge pick up for Wilde Lake and it could tip things in their favor in the county. Meanwhile, Rosedale picks up a reclassed [player_tooltip player_id='791219' first='Kamori' last='Doss'] who is ranked 13th in the 2028 class. She's a great addition due to her versatility and toughness. They also picked up [player_tooltip player_id='1105522' first='Summer' last='Miller'] who is a promising 2027 guard from Springdale Prep.

In Baltimore County the defending 1A champions over in Pikesville picked up a couple of key players. [player_tooltip player_id='785467' first='Calia' last='Carter'] has moved over from New Town and will provide some scoring, toughness and rebounding. They also picked up a strong freshman combo guard in [player_tooltip player_id='1263641' first='Kyndall' last='Richardson'] who came over from Mt. Carmel.

Mt. Carmel basically disbanded their program at the last minute and several of their players relocated. [player_tooltip player_id='895036' first='Miley' last='Alguire'] landed at Rosedale Christian and sharp shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='692222' first='Kiersten' last='Rurka'] transferred to C. Milton Wright in Harford County, where she could be a player of the year candidate. Also leaving Mt. Carmel to head down south the Bishop McNamara is last year's freshman of the year, [player_tooltip player_id='864319' first='Jaylah' last='King'].

Another Baltimore County contender grabbed a couple of pieces as Dulaney picked up two talented guards in Morgan Young and [player_tooltip player_id='1251317' first='Aairyn' last='Gibson']. This will give them a strong trio of guards that will keep them in any county game.

In the WCAC St. Mary's Ryken picked up 6'5" post player [player_tooltip player_id='834729' first='Jameela' last='James'] who came over from New Hope Academy.

St. Vincent Pallotti picked up Ka'nai Pyatt, a scoring guard who left Pikesville, and St. Timothy's welcomed [player_tooltip player_id='1005175' first='Laila' last='Robinson'] from Garrison Forest and [player_tooltip player_id='946894' first='Josiah' last='Smalls'] from McDonogh.
