Levey landed one of the first offers of the previous week when she secured an in-state get courtesy of SC State. She added this offer to previous looks she received from Converse, Claflin and Spartanburg Methodist. Regardless of where she goes, she will be entering the college ranks with at least two state championships during her time at 5A Berkeley and will look to earn a third before she calls it a career as a Stag. Levey recently closed the book on her club career playing at the Nike Nationals in Chicago with Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite. Levey would average 10 points, 5.5 rebounds and a block per game in the 26 games she played last season for Berkeley. 

Levey also knows what the sweet taste of state championship victory is like. The last two seasons, Berkeley was the final 5A Division 2 assembling standing. A two-sport athlete who plays volleyball in addition to her basketball achievements, Levey’s latest offer would be of the in-state variety courtesy of Converse. Levey adds the Converse offer to previous ones she landed from Claflin and Spartanburg Methodist. She would compete in 26 of the Stags’ 28 contests last season while averaging 10 points, 5.5 rebounds and one block per contest. She spent her weekend with her Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite team at the Nike Nationals in Chicago.

Levey’s recruiting has picked up as of late as she is set to resume her final travel season of her career – also with Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite . Two weeks ago, Levey had landed an offer from Spartanburg Methodist and she could add a Claflin look to her list. Levey has played at the high school varsity level since she was an eighth grader and has claimed a pair of state championships during her time at 5A Berkeley. She would compete in 26 of the Stags’ 28 contests throughout last season while averaging 10 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Levey was one three 2027s on the 2025-26 Berkeley version. 

The beginning of the week was very fortunate on the recruiting trail for prospects representing the defending 5A Division 2 state champions. Levey, a formidable interior presence for Berkeley secured her first offer courtesy of Spartanburg Methodist at the beginning of the week. She is a multi-sport athlete who has also played volleyball throughout her athletic career. Once June is in the books, she will resume her final travel schedule with Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite prior to preparing for her senior season as a Stag. Last season, Levey averaged 10 points, 5.5 rebounds and a block per contest. Levey has played at the varsity level since she was an eighth grader. 

The conclusion of the 2025-26 season ensured that Levey will depart from the high school ranks with at least two championship rings on her fingers. She will seek a third consecutive crown in 2026-27. Levey also fits the description of a two-sport athlete as she also plays volleyball in addition to her basketball achievements. She first played at the varsity level when she was an eighth grader. This past season for 5A Division 2 Berkeley, Levey would average 10 points and 5.5 rebounds plus one block in the 26 contest she participated in. Levey was one of three juniors on coach Crystal Peace’s 2025-26 Stags roster. 

When talking about teams that are on the rise in South Carolina’s uber-competitive high school basketball landscape, 5A Berkeley has to be seen as one of those teams given the youth that is on its side. One portion of that youth is Levey who does plenty of work in the painted area. Levey is a multi-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball to go alongside her basketball exploits. While she will convert on easy buckets near the rim, she handles the tough situations well and finds a way for those shots to go in also. Rebounding and blocking shots are two other portions of her game that the 5-foot-10 Stags standout excels at. 

Levey really plays her best basketball inside the paint area. She has a nice size and a great set of hands down low on the block. Imani works for position and understands on how to seal off defenders. Levey climbs up from #20 to #14 in this latest edition of Stock-Risers.
