Of the 2028 prospects seen by our scouts in person, we felt 32 names had a strong case to be considered top 25 in their class. Only prospects observed by our scouts in person were considered for the Watch List.
A Watch List is not a Ranking, all players are listed alphabetically. Here are the names of prospects A-J who we selected for our first 2028 Watch List update with brief notes about their strengths.

Jayla is a lengthy forward prospect for Renaissance who has impressed us with her high-motor rebounding on both ends and finishing in the paint. Jayla’s athleticism and height give her high potential and she has instantly stepped into the rotation at Renaissance. Read more about Jayla
A’leeyah Alonzo A’leeyah Alonzo 5'4" | CG Bay City John Glenn | 2028 MI -5-4-CG-Bay City John Glenn-Michigan Storm UA
A’leeyah is a promising guard who has burst off the bounce and range to knock down 3s outside. She attacks hard to the basket and uses combo dribbles to move the defense. A’leeyah is an instant impact player for BC John Glenn.

Ellee has had a dominant travel season and made an immediate impact with Midland this summer. Ellee uses her length to contribute as a rebounder and finisher in the paint. She has been a huge part of her team’s ability to compete this summer and win against elite teams. Read more about Ellee

Kassidy played up with Lady FVV this spring, making an impression with her toughness defensively and downhill drives. She has stepped into a lead role as a guard for Renaissance this summer, showing her range as a shooter. Kassidy has competed at a high level against top teams. Read more about Kassidy
Macy Donovan Macy Donovan 5'10" | SG Frankenmuth | 2028 MI -5-10-SG-Frankenmuth-Mystics Ruh
Macy competed with the top 2025 Mystics team this spring and has continually impressed with her outside shooting and competitiveness on both ends. Macy has continued her effective play with Frankenmuth this summer and dominated at elite camps. She shows no signs of being an incoming freshman. Read more about Macy

Nuray came to the Headliners Invitational last November and dominated on both ends of the court. She scored at all three levels, is explosive off the dribble, and wreaked havoc on defense. Despite not competing in travel this spring, she attended the Ferris State Elite camp recently and impressed our scout by hitting 3s and crashing the boards. Read more about Nuray

Emersen stood out in a huge way during the Grassroots season with her travel team and has continued to make an impression at elite camps and Summer leagues this summer. Emersen is explosive off the bounce and effective attacking downhill with different combo-dribbles. She is a deadeye three-point shooter and has already put up big games with Regina this summer.

Brooklyn came to the Headliners Invitational last November and was one of the top performers of the session. Seeing her compete up a grade this spring with Mystics has only confirmed her potential. Brooklyn attacks off the dribble, defends guards and forwards, knocks down 3s, and makes the hustle plays. She has already earned an offer from SVSU and is a top prospect in this class.
Jana Honeycutt Jana Honeycutt 5'10" | SF Holland West Ottawa | 2028 MI -5-10-W-Holland West Ottawa- Michigan Drive Premier
Jana has had an impressive spring with her travel team and caught our attention with her defensive effort and footwork finishing at the rim. She protects the rim, leads her team on the defensive end, and has good footwork on offense. She is a prospect to follow for West Ottawa. Read more about Jana

Kenna competed up a grade for Legends U this spring and has instantly stepped into the lead role for Lumen Christi this summer. She has shown athleticism, three-level scoring, fundamentals, decision-making, and defensive pressure that make her one of the best prospects of this class. Kenna has already received a D1 offer from Akron and her potential is extremely high. She will be one of the most exciting guards to watch moving forward. Read more about Kenna.

Adalyn has received high praise from her head coach and has been a lead performer during the Grassroots season. She has followed that up by becoming an immediate impact player for Grass Lake this summer. Adalyn is a dynamic guard who has deep range and efficiency as a shooter, handles the ball well, and is a confident lockdown defender. She guarded a great opponent’s top offensive player this summer and did everything to help her team compete. Read more about Adalyn
