Lengthy. Physical. Aggressive. Calculated. These are just four words that help describe [player_tooltip player_id='747245' first='Addison' last='Medeck']'s play-style on the hardwood. Medeck is the only 2027 prospect out of Nebraska with a D1 offer or two and she is looking to build onto the moving forward. As we speed through the Fall and get into the high school season, Medeck will attempt to but together a better season than her Freshman year, which might be challenging to do but it is definitely possible from an outside point-of-view. She is a natural 6'2, she holds her own against alike size opponents and even bigger ones, and she has a smart head on her shoulders. Three things that are usually a recipe for success in the long run as it pertains to the game of Basketball.

If [player_tooltip player_id='753080' first='Mollie' last='Probasco'] can expand her play style from what she showed last Winter, then the state of Nebraska is in for a rude awakening. Probasco might be listed as a SF because of her 5'10 height on her roster but in reality, she is natural 3-guard/Combo Guard at this point in her career. She may have some better than average size but she can handle from inside the paint to the full court, she can score from all three offensive levels efficiently, and she doesn't take plays off on defense. Probasco already has an offer or two to compete at the next level but that won't satisfy her. If she locks in and stays motivated, who knows where she could end up taking things at the end of the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='751925' first='T'Niyah' last='Wilson-Smith'] is going to stick in our #3 spot in this Update because of her mixture of smooth skill, elite scoring ability, and that she competes with a chip on her shoulder, knowing that nothing will be given to her and instead, it must be earned with hard work. Other than the #1 Ranking right now, 2-4 are really up in the air depending on how each of these athletes compete this Winter. If Wilson-Smith goes out and plays with that supreme confidence I've seen so many times, I'm sure she is going to turn some heads of collegiate recruiters, also helping her case in these types of Updates. Last Winter everyone learned about Wilson - Smith but that was just the tip of the iceberg. Just wait for what she could have up her sleeve next.

Being an undersized guard can be a tricky situation on the basketball court. Some coaches see it as a liability, some see it as an advantage with speed and quickness. It really just depends on the coaches system and what they are trying to accomplish. Someone that could really continue to flourish this next eight months is PG, Kaytee Irons. Irons is taking her talents to Lincoln Southwest to compete this upcoming Winter and I am excited to see what she can do. This is a high school program that just lost their leading producer from years past due to graduation, so there is going to be a lot of room for growth and opportunity to anyone coming into the program and Irons is sure to take full advantage of that.

I need to see that [player_tooltip player_id='865481' first='Gigi' last='Owens'] can take it to the next level. There is another un-tapped level to Owens game. If you watch her compete for five minutes, you can tell that she has a very bright future as long as she works on the correct things moving forward. Things like being able to knock down open jumpers on rotation and being her team's best overall defender. Owens has the possibilities to be a lock-down prospect on that side of the floor. If she can live off of that consistently moving forward, while tightening up that efficiency, she could be a cold-blooded killer before you know it. Last year at Lincoln High she didn't see a ton of minutes on the Varsity floor but that should change this Winter for the better. For this Update Owens will fall into the #5 spot, something she should be proud of but not satisfied with.
