All About the Girls Holiday Hoops- Standout Guards

Quite a bit of local talent was on display as 71 of the teams were from Maryland. She showed off the ability to score from all three levels and some strong passing ability as well. She scored in a variety of ways and helped her teammates get easy buckets, but I like the work she put in on defense. If she wasn't finishing at the rim, she was breaking down the defense and setting her teammates up with drop off passes. She was particularly strong in the double overtime classic against Hammond. She's a capable shooter from long range, but she did major damage by penetrating and finishing at the rim or drawing fouls. She is playing with a lot of confidence and having big games scoring the ball. She's been a spark on both ends of the court and has stepped into a leadership role for the Doves.
