Outstanding shooting guard that moved without the ball to find the gaps in the defense. In the open floor Brenly showed that she could handle the ball with a quick change of direction weaving her way to the rim for the finish. Impressive was the use of a pocket dribble to change her speed then gearing down to blow by the defender. Best shot of the day came on a square up in the corner waiting on the defender to make a move. A stand still defender with hands down resulted in a made 3-pointer. Backing up the saying hands down man down.

Quick on ball defender that moved great side to side keep her body in between her and the basket. Good rotation on the press showed that Brenly is very familiar with a press defense that rotates. Another 2028 name to remember as Brenly and crew look to get Tahlequah Sequoyah back to the state tournament

First time seeing Giada play and was very impressed with how aggressive she was on both ends of the floor. Moved great off the ball cutting backdoor for scoring opportunities in the game I watched. Good ball handles allow her to play the point or shooting guard.

A tough on ball defender that has quick hands meaning if you do not have the ball tucked away in the shooting pocket, she will get a piece of it. Showing off the ball help means she understands how to play some shell defense. 2028 I look forward to watching this upcoming season. The quickness on defense and versatility at guard play should help the Lady Timberwolves as they look for depth on their line up due to heavy graduation.

If any coaches that are in search of a tall combo guard they need to take a trip to Newcastle and check out [player_tooltip player_id='913548' first='Jordyn' last='Richardson']. The ball handling skills plus the vision allows her to play the role of a tall point guard. In transition breaks did an excellent job in changing directions with the eyes up the court looking to advance the break with a pass. During 5/5 play she was able to take advantage of miscommunication defense attacking the rim scoring on the layups. Nice footwork at the top of key on the break stepping 1-2 into the knock down 3-pointer.

On defense the length and gap defense rotation created turnovers off the deflection or steals. Long low stance and a quick lateral first step keep the ball ballhandlers in front. The thing I really liked was the ability she must go get the defensive rebound and bust out forward on the dribble to start the break. The transfer from Carl Albert adds more height and athleticism to an already very talented Lady Racer program.

I am not sure you can call a player who is ranked #2 at her position a ranking riser but this young lady performed Saturday. Long athletic that can jump out of the gym. The difference between last year as a freshman and the sophomore I saw Saturday is night and day. Power forward has improved her game in all area that she honestly can play that small forward position. Open floor ball handling off the rebound pushing up the floor with vision was nice. What makes her a tough match up is the outside shooting which is more of a threat this season.

Outstanding defensive player that understands to rotate on defense. The jumping ability added with a long wing span allowed the guards to pressure them to know the shot blocker was protecting the rim. Remember the name as she will be a key player for the Lady Eagles as they make their run for the Gold Ball

Combo forward that can play the 3-4 position and is physical enough to defend the 5 if needed. As mentioned in Tough as Nails article below, the small forward always seemed to be around the rim on any missed shots. A player that can score those types of point without plays is a special type player. The consistent mid-range jumper makes her a great option when running 4 out guard offense or 3 out 2 in.

2028 that gives the PCN Lady Panthers another tall player that can go either way guard or forward. Quick rotation on the backline in the press will also be a added addition.

Listed as a power forward but I would not back off against Leighton from deep. A shooter that has range for a PF. Event showed a dribble step back off the ball screen. Nice handles int he open court that grab a defensive rebound pushing the ball with eyes up looking to score in transition. Stronger driver that uses a tough drop step spin move for the finish.

On defense an excellent rebounder that creates space to grab that board above her head. Leighton is one of the great 2028 class Berryhill has. Do not sleep on Berryhill this season.

Najya play Saturday had scouts, fans and coaches walking away shaking their heads saying better watch out for that player. The combo guard was quick in pushing the ball baseline to baseline on fast breaks pushing as far as possible before making a good decision. The open court vision is on point with passes to the open backside player for easy baskets. The outside shooting proved that she could play the shooting guard spot as well making her a very versatile guard. The body language she displays is great and you can see her team feeds off that energy vibe.

Tough on the ball defender that applies pressure in the open creating steels leading to layups. Quick, physical and aggressive ball screens that can get though without having to switch. An all-around complete guard that has great basketball IQ on both ends of the floor. I am a firm believer that Najya will have a strong sophomore season and become on many coaches' radar.
