The Expo: Top Rebounders

She was a nightmare to keep off of the offensive glass due to her non-stop motor and use of body position. She probably had 6-8 offensive rebounds in each of the games that I saw resulting in putback layups, free throw attempts and shots for her teammates. As I mentioned, in a previous article, she is a tenacious rebounder who did an excellent job boxing out and starting many fast breaks with long outlet passes leading to easy buckets. Terrific use of box out position and anticipation helped her stand out amongst a very talented group of rebounders. Grace was one of the players that stood out to me based on her rebounding! Tenacious player who was always in the thick of the action, either on the boards or around the ball making smart plays. Always seeming to know where to position herself, her effort made the difference in keeping several plays alive. A beast, on the boards, she outworked the opposition tallying several offensive rebound putbacks in each game.
