Outstanding Players from GC Super Scrimmage

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Good Counsel Super Scrimmage has turned into a yearly DMV tradition as teams line up to take part in the festivities. The round robin format gives coaches the opportunity to play against multiple teams in a day for a half. It also gives us a first look at some of the teams, where they stand in the power rankings, transfers added, freshmen first look and an overall vibe on what the season will bring. She sprinted the floor in transition and was able to catch and finish smoothly on the fly. She was disruptive in the lane blocking and altering shots on defense. Despite having a slim frame, she was one of the most physical players on the floor. The result of the play was two points but the impact resulted in one of the most spectacular plays of the day. Her transitition defense was incredible as she ran down a play full court and stopped a three on on break. She is just a freshman but she showed the physicality and control to finish plays after contact. Her guard skills allowed her to start the offense after a rebound and to lead in halfcourt sets also defensively she can defend both the peremiter and post. She was nimble with good foot work and a nice touch on her outside shot. She was able to stretch the floor showing range from the three and the confidence to take the shot when open. She is just as tall if not taller and plays strong like her sister. She is a good finisher and an exceptional rebounder thats willing to crash the board and rebound outside of her area.
