After a back and forth three quarters, Conley and McLoud broke open the game with a 21-6 fourth quarter. It was the hard nose guard scoring around the rim, in the half court and transition, that helped cap their run. She finished with a game high 11 point and grabbed 6 rebounds. Was her typical self, dominating in the mid-range. And playing with grit around the hoop with tough scores.

The all energy junior guard was the party starter of the second half run. She drained a pair of corner triples that broke the game opened and propelled McLoud to a comfortable win over their rivals. Chloe and her sister always play with passion and their heart on their sleeves. A big reason why McLoud has reached the Class 4A semifinals.

The Nebraska signee was her usual productive self. Leading Lincoln in points (13) and rebounds (7). Grinded away around the rim, with her usual power and control. One thing is certain that if she pushes it down the court and [player_tooltip player_id='413627' first='Kayli' last='Atkinson'] is open, Stewart will find her. It happened once for a first half three. The senior duo will try to make that connection happen a couple more times as they look to bring back a second Gold Ball back to the 918.

Tough ending to an impressive sophomore year leap. Some of Hartman's growth was on display with drives to the rim. Her handles have steadily improved and was able to get a few paint touches against a stingy LCS defense. Strong finishes for a skinny guard. Kingfisher also trusted her at times to bring the ball up against the pressure. There are moments she still has the gangly baby horse movements of a player still growing, but her development into a more skilled scoring guard is well under way. Player to watch this spring and summer.

The forward was a two way force in the victory. Reaching double figures by making herself present and active around the rim. Was one of the better finishing games seen from Albert. Also made her mark on defense with helping to hold down the fort in the paint. While also switching out onto the perimeter, comfortably staying with and pressuring guards. Had 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.

Stokes scored a game high 19 points and made the clutch plays to stop a late run by the Eagles. Eats up so much ground with her long legs and her added strength allows her to brush off contact on drives. Drained a couple triples to compliment her drives and free throws. Also grabbed 7 rebounds, handed out 3 assists, and steals. A great example of the do everything aspects of Stokes' game.

Usually it's the sophomores' older sister who draws acclaim for Locust Grove. Today it was the sophomore who helped the Lady Pirates start strong. With a couple early threes. Was engaged and locked in on defense as well. Hands in passing lanes for deflection and fighting on the ball. It will take all hands on deck for the Lady Pirates to go a step further than last year's semifinals and the sophomore did her part on Tuesday.

It was a tale of two halves for Woods. In the first half, the opposition did a good job of containing her and making her settle for tough jumpers. Was quiet by her high standards. The fourth quarter was all Woods tho. She had a six point spurt in about 90 seconds. Where she finally got a couple of middies to fall, then got her own miss. Kept pouring it on, leading to a 9 point win and a team high 22 points. Always fun to see an elite player battle through early adversity and finish like a star.

Gates is one of the most improved players in Oklahoma and had her signature moment to end the third quarter and start the fourth. She got on the offensive glass for a putback shortly before the third quarter buzzer. Then opened the fourth with a jumper. From that point it was all Torjettes. On the day, she went for 18 points and 10 points. Impressively using her long wingspan to grab 6 offensive rebounds.

It's not often that Douglass guards have issues containing a player off the bounce. But that's the type of extra gear Cauthron has. It's made even more dramatic by the springiness she has. Big time explosiveness when going up to finish. With a great second jump as well, using that trait to corral 11 rebounds. Also scored 22 points, including 10 of 13 free throw shooting. Handed out 4 assists, and the opportunities she created for teammates went well beyond the box score. Special athlete, special motor, tough way to end her junior season.
