As the 2023-2024 season reaches the midpoint, a variety of showcases and tournaments are ongoing. In a couple of weeks, conference seasons will wind down, and teams will begin preparing for their 2024 state tournament run. After expanding the 2025 rankings list to a Top-100 and a watch list of another 100 prospects, we are now at 200 total 2025 prospects listed on Prep Girls Hoops Indiana. At this time, I wanted to highlight all of the small forwards in the class who we currently have listed, as well as point out some newcomers and those who have raised their stock since the beginning of the season.

WINTER NEWCOMERS:
Brie Barnes
Brie
Barnes
5'9" | SF
Fort Wayne Snider | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-9 SF/PF, Fort Wayne Snider H.S.
– Brie is a strong, somewhat physical forward who can play on the wing or in the mid-post. She has touch to the perimeter, but she is also a solid mid-post scorer and driver, plus she will rebound the ball. Defensively, she’s probably better against true forwards more than wings.
Brooke Kneubuhler
Brooke
Kneubuhler
5'8" | SF
Woodlan | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-8 SF, Woodlan H.S.
– Brooke is a nice, long, fairly athletic forward. She doesn’t quite have the height (6’0) of her 2024 sister, but she is a bit more skilled and versatile around the perimeter. She does have a little touch outside, but she’s probably better as an attacker/driver, plus she rebounds it well.
Grace McBride
Grace
McBride
5'9" | SF
New Albany | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-9 SF, New Albany H.S.
– I saw Grace for the first time at our PGH Indiana Top-250 Expo this Fall. She is a skillful, intelligent wing who understands situations. She has nice length, a wiry strength to her, and she’s a fairly fluid athlete. She has some touch outside, a solid handle, and she’s a versatile defender.
Kyra Parker

Parker
5'9" | SF
Fort Wayne Snider | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-9 SF, Fort Wayne Snider H.S.
– Kyra has a really nice, long, wiry-strong frame, she’s another smooth/fluid athlete in most directions, and she can make plays at both ends of the floor. She doesn’t excel at any one thing, but she’s solid at most things. She can attack, knock down the occasional jumper, and defend.
Zyann Phinezy

, 2025, 5-8 SF, Fort Wayne Snider H.S.
– Zyann is the younger sister of 6’3 Senior
Tia Phinezy

. Though Zyann didn’t get the same height, she is an athletic wing with some versatility. She is a nice attacking style of scorer, she is a solid all-around rebounder, plus she can sit down and defend multiple positions equally well.
Nevaeh Sanders
Nevaeh
Sanders
5'8" | SF
Morristown | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-8 SF/SG, Morristown H.S.
– Nevaeh really took off last season, proving she could be a big-time scorer at the Class 1A level. She is a really nice athlete, she can attack the basket, but she also can knock down the outside jumper. She’s also a solid rebounder and a capable, versatile defensive player.
Sara Zarse
Sara
Zarse
5'8" | SF
Tri-County | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-8 SF, Tri-County H.S.
– Sara has been a Varsity regular for a couple of years now, and she is a nice, steady, consistent performer for Tri-County. She can handle it a little and initiate the offense, she can attack, and she can knock down the occasional jumper. She’s also a versatile defender with length.
Delaney Zorman
Delaney
Zorman
5'8" | SF
North Daviess | 2025
IN
, 2025, 5-8 SF/PF, North Daviess H.S.
– Delaney was good when I saw her in July, and she plays with nice versatility. She has a fairly physical frame, she doesn’t mind contact, and she plays with a nice motor and a nose for the ball. At the same time, she’s comfortable outside, she can knock down a jumper, and she can attack.
.
WINTER STOCK-RISERS:
Nina Garner
Nina
Garner
6'0" | SF
Munster | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, 6-0 SF, Munster H.S.
– Nina is a really nice talent with a high ceiling who continues to improve month to month. She is extremely long, wiry, and a fluid run-and-jump athlete. What’s most impressive about her is, she has such quick feet, she can sit down and defend some point guards. She also has the height to go get rebounds, and she’s solid enough with the ball that she can push in transition. As she continues to improve her jump-shot, watch out, because that could make her a real force offensively.
Madison Sonsini
Madison
Sonsini
6'0" | SF
Greenfield-Central | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, 6-0 SF/PF, Greenfield-Central H.S.
– Over the past 12-18 months, Madison has grown and gained a great deal of strength, which has really helped her game. Before, she was more of a spot-up shooter, but now, she can play inside or out. She has a solid handle and can push like a point forward in transition. She has the touch of a wing and can knock down perimeter jumpers. At the same time, she’s physical enough to play in the mid-post and go battle for boards inside, or she can even defend true power forwards.
Taylor Van Meter
Taylor
Van Meter
5'11" | SF
Rensselaer Central | 2025
State
IN
, 2025, 5-11 SF, Rensselaer Central H.S.
– Taylor has had a strong Junior season, helping Rensselaer to an undefeated first half. She is extremely long, wiry-strong, and she’s more of a fluid athlete than a bouncy kid. She does have some bounce, but her game is built more on smooth. She has good skill at her size, she can knock down jump-shots consistently, and with added strength, she’s getting more confident and more aggressive off the bounce. I would look for her to really improve her stock this Spring in front of coaches.
