The all-star games confirmed it for everyone else too! I will call this round of all-star games, Passive Payton! We all know that Rollins can score. Payton's passing ability is one that should be talked about more. Rollins dropped assist after assist. She has great court vision and she sees plays happen before most of the others! She is putting more time in the weight room and you can definitely see some of that strength at times on the court too! The guard holds numerous offers to play at the next level! People continue to forget that she is only a freshman! Call this one, Eliteu0022 and that is the best word to describe [player_tooltip player_id='821680' first='Lauren' last='Clark']. She is an elite freshman! I love the fact that Lauren is completely unselfish! She sets up her teammates nicely and allows them to get great looks! There is so much about Clark's overall game to love! Lauren is definitely going to have a breakout summer. She continues to live up to every bit of hype that is thrown at her! One of the purest shooters that you are going to find in our state! She has great mechanics with a beautiful rotation! Yes, she made more 3's in the all-star games. I stated that the freshman is a top 5 three point shooter, and I don't think my opinion is going to change in the next few years either! Wilhite almost dropped 30 in the game. Yes, she was extremely close to getting 30 in an event with top athletes! You have to remain faithful on defense too because Sydney can definitely put the ball on the floor and score! She is one of the best ball handlers that you are going to find. Abby is extremely smart with the basketball and she doesn't try to do too much! I love how Roberts can create offense for herself u0026amp; others. Abby doesn't need much space to get off a shot either! She can knock down the catch and shoot, she can penetrate extremely well, and she will just out-work you! According to most, this is the ultimate compliment that you can give a basketball player! Well, Saylor deserves the credit and so much more. Hutcheson is one of the most underrated athletes in our entire state. I made the statement to give me 5 Saylor's and I think that I could beat anyone. I still believe that! Hutcheson plays the game of basketball the correct way! She lays it all out on the court and you know that she is doing whatever it takes for her team to be successful! Saylor rebounds exceptionally well, attacks the rim exceptionally well, and never stops moving! Kelsey has elevated her games in numerous ways with showing off how she can also get to the rim! She continues to pull defenders out of their comfort zone and when the defense breaks down, Holt finds the opening! I've stated numerous times that when Gwen is anywhere inside the 3 point line, she is deadly! She is crafty and acrobatic around the rim! Yes, she can knock down a 3 ball too. However, her inside the perimeter game is seriously lethal! At times, you will play great defense on Carroll, and it will simply be better offense! She has a nice vertical that allows her to get her shot off around taller defenders too! If any sophomore is flying under the radar, it is this one! If Gwen continues to work, she will be one of the top players in the entire state, regardless of class! Jenna continues to put up numbers that are simply remarkable! I'm sure she held a double-double with numerous blocked shots in the all-star games too! Johnson makes a lot of impactful plays on the court! One of the things that I love most about Liv's game is her way to communicate effectively on the court! This is truly a lost art with so many young athletes! Yes, Olivia scored and made some nice passes. However, the impact that she continues to make by being vocal on the court is what she is great at. I always tell young athletes to find other ways to impact the game because all of the athletes at the next level can score. We all know what makes Liv standout so don't ever question why she is considered great! She finds a way to impact basketball games and she's great at it! The freshman is going to continue to find ways to gain attention from college coaches too! Jordan sees plays happen before her teammates do! She knows what is about to unfold and she knows exactly how to break down a defense! She has an extremely high IQ! What I love most about watching Hayden is her non-stop motor! She is a true energizer on the court that never stops working! Hayden showcased her desire to win even at the all-star games! She always stays poised and under control! Howard can handle the ball and pass extremely well! She adds another level to her true point guard self when she attacks and scores consistently. Which she has shown that she can do! Howard also has an extremely high IQ! When you watch Howard, you will see the ability that she showcases on how to make in game adjustments on the fly! Shai Gilgeous-Alexander said it best, u0022I'm a playmaking guard, a pass-first point guard.u0022 Howard is a pass-first point guard, but she can definetely make plays happen! This is a point guard that should have a lot more eyes on her! She is a good outside shooter and she has a great toughness that can't be taught! I've heard it numerous times now, that if you were in a fight, you want Kady on your side! The best quote that comes to mind is by Kobe Bryant, u0022If you see me in a fight with a bear, pray for the bear.u0022 Hopkins is not going to back down from a challenge on the court, and she continues to play exceptionally well! If you were wondering if she could compete with the rest of East TN, the answer is yes! The junior is extremely talented! She was able to continue to attack the rim numerous times! She is one of the best guards at attacking downhill! I have no doubt that if Morrow keeps working, we will see her name even more all across the state! Brittany and Hutson are going to be a tough duo to contain at Scott High School! Peyton definitely has the unwavering desire to get better too! I too often forget that Wood is a freshman because I'll reiterate that she does not play like a freshman! She positions herself extremely well underneath and rebounds exceptionally well too! Cloey is one of the athletes with tremendous upside. Charlie is definitely an elite defender! She takes her game to another level when she can also step out and knock down shots! This one turns defense to offense extremely fast! I love the effort that she brings on the court. It shows during every possession, whether it is offense or defense! Yes, she is widely known for her defensive efforts, but don't be surprised when her game grows in every aspect. She has the grit and determination! She continues to show how deadly that she can be with the range! You don't have to worry when Izy has the ball in her hands! She is going to get her team a great shot! She has great athleticism and she is another guard with an extremely high IQ! A basketball savvy athlete that is going to gain more attention as time goes on!
