Coach Steve Pisarski hosts an annual off season high school tournament every year in Western Maryland. This year’s event was at Frederick Community College and Hood College, two excellent places to watch a game. The event featured 22 varsity teams from all over the country and there was plenty of talent in the gyms. Here are some of the top prospects from the event.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="239466" first="Makayla" last="Johnson"], Elizabeth Seton, 2025 Guard</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-455148" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/07/20220624_140708-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />
Very impressive guard with good size at 5’9". She knocked down several long threes but I was most impressed by her passing ability. She throws accurate passes and dropped some absolute dimes to her teammates. She keeps her head up while advancing the ball and helped the team get several easy buckets with her awareness. She should have a big season in the WCAC.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="239389" first="Emma" last="NuQuay"], Elizabeth Seton, 2025 Guard</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-455141" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/07/20220624_140806_HDR-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />
Emma provides quiet leadership on this young squad with her intensity and businesslike approach to the game. She is a solid on ball defender and willing rebounder. She’s 5’9" so she has the size to excel as a wing or guard. Her three point shot looked good and she showed some playmaking ability as well, getting into the paint and finishing or dishing off to teammates.
<strong>Audriana Williams, Elizabeth Seton, 2026, Forward-Center</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-455229" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/07/20220624_140716-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />
Versatile 6’2" forward center with excellent footwork and hands. Big strong body and a physical presence in the paint where she likes to move bodies around. She shot the three pointer with confidence and ran the floor well. Very skilled player with a lot of potential.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="288412" first="Jasmine" last="Harris"], Northern Guilford, 2024, Point Guard</strong>
<img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-455154" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/07/20220624_152934-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />
5’7" guard with a high motor and strong defensive game. Quick hands and good instincts allowed her to come away with a bunch of steals and deflections. Good ball handler that got to the rim and finished through contact consistently. She’s not afraid to take big shots.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="254975" first="Mia" last="Woolfolk"], Manchester, 2024, Center </strong>
<img class="alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-455857" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/07/20220624_153046_HDR-1-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />
Another strong showcase for this 6’2" post. Mia is strong and physical but is also skilled and fundamentally sound. She has excellent footwork and a tough back to the basket game. She is a double double machine and a solid team defender.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="304787" first="Rayne" last="Wright"], Manchester, 2025, Forward</strong>
Rayne is a bucket maker. At 5’11" she has the size to get inside and do damage, but she is dangerous all the way out beyond the arc. Very versatile player who can lock up on defense and facilitate offense. Major potential here.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="393115" first="Sydney" last="Anthony"], St. Vincent Pallotti, 2024, Guard</strong>
Speedy and athletic guard who is a terror in transition. Very disruptive defender with good footwork and instincts.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="393082" first="Arianna" last="Harris"]-Mott, St. Vincent Pallotti, 2026, Center-Forward</strong>
Legit 6’3" post player that knows how to use her size. She controlled the boards in the game I watched and got to the foul line multiple times where she showed great form.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="433835" first="Savannah" last="Whitley"], St. Vincent Pallotti, 2026, Center-Forward</strong>
Six foot forward with soft hands and a good touch around the rim. Strong defender with good timing on her blocks. Rebounds aggressively and passes well out of the high post.
