LaBrea has had a heck of an offseason so far. Her game is becoming more and more fluid and she has added more weapons to her arsenal. She was able to physically out play her peers in middle school, now her skill has increased to the point that she is legitimately back in All-American talks. Her play in the DC Live event was one of the best showings that I have seen in a while from a player on any level, yet alone a freshman.
Zoe is looking like a solid stretch player. Listed as a post and my play a lot in the low block, she has shown that she can attack from the high post as well stretch the floor hitting shots from different ranges which moved her up in the top 10 in the class. I’d love to see just how much more she has as she seems as if she may be able to play some perimeter and create mismatches if given the chance.
Arianna is shooting the ball really well giving McDonogh yet another perimeter threat. The Eagles have a lot of players with similar skillsets so seeing her being able to flourish in the group is promising for their future. Their freshman duo with Autumn Fleary Autumn Fleary 5’7″ | PG McDonogh School | 2026 State MD can be one of the best backcourts in the area for the next few years.
Highlights
Alexandra is quietly making a name for herself. With all the attention on Bailey Harris Bailey Harris 5’10” | CG St. Mary’s | 2026 State MD , sometimes Alexandra gets missed. However, she has been so consistent that it is becoming harder and harder to look past her. She has been tallying up double-doubles and doing it on a regular basis. She has risen to #23 in the class and can potentially continue to rise as she keeps growing as she has.
