Class 4a Area 3 Preview teams and players

If their is a area that I fell has a true contender that will be left out of the dance it is this Area. Locust Grove, Bethany, and Glenpool are three teams that I can honestly say are true contenders for the GOLD BALL. Entering the playoffs 20 game winning streak including winning the second time around against Fort Gibson for the conference title. A team that has tall versatile players to go along with strong guard play. <strong>Bethany</strong> has played most of the season without their star point guard this season due to injury. The return of the guard along with a returning post player come playoffs could have Bethany in the hunt for that 3 peat. <strong>Glenpool</strong> a team that slipped out of the Top 8 on the last ranking has the firepower to return to the state tournament this season. A very long team that is physical and like to score a lot of points. <strong>Broken Bow</strong> could be the unknown team in this area to many. They have 4 quality wins over ranked teams and several losses that could have went their way to add some more. They have added last year 3a MVP to their roster so they have the ability to put points on the scoreboard. Do not sleep on this team they can play. <strong>Sallisaw</strong> a team that got hot in January winning 6 out 7 to crack the Top 20 for awhile. Familiar with teams in this area as they have played during the season might be what they need to get some wins in a row during regionals. <strong>Muldrow</strong> is a team that is playing their best ball at the right time of season. Entering the playoffs winning 8 out of their last 9 games. The only loss coming to Roldan who is ranked in Top 10 Class 3a <strong>Skiatook</strong> a team that can shoot the deep ball enters the playoffs on a 2 game winning streak <strong>Eufaula</strong> got hot late January to roll off 5 wins in a row but ended the regular season on a 2 game skid. They will match up with Tecumseh in districts. A team the beat earlier in the season. <strong>Tecumseh</strong> a team that enters the playoffs on a 5 game losing steak 3 of those coming to ranked teams. They did pick up a big win this season over North Rock Creek a Top 10 Class 4a earlier in the season. <strong>Wagoner</strong> Do not look to much into those 11 losses as many have came to ranked team. A tough schedule could have them prepared to make some noise in playoffs. <strong>Bristow</strong> a team that hit a skid in January but regroup and won 3 in a row early February. <strong>Checotah</strong> A team that had a great January winning 7 games during that month. <strong>Hilldale</strong> a team that picked up a much needed win to end the season. Looking at their schedule 8 of their losses have come to Top 10 ranked opponents.
