Camp month has commenced in earnest across the Palmetto State as prospects who have spent plenty of time on the travel circuit are now getting reacquainted with their high school teams.

The previous week was another busy one on South Carolina's recruiting trail. One can expect the rest of the month to be every bit as active especially considering there is a live period coming up later this month.

Last week even featured our first commitment among the 2027 class. Here is our update on said announcement and the latest offers as Prep Girls Hoops remains hot on the Palmetto State recruiting trail.

Before arriving on the scene at SCISA 4A Hammond, McMillan previously wore black and Vegas gold of now 1A Fairfield Central. Following the 2026-27 season, McMillan will once sport a black and Vegas gold uniform as she will keep her hoops talents in-state at Anderson. Following a dreadful 2024-25 season for the Skyhawks, the addition of McMillan gave Hammond a jolt of energy. One can see why coach Jonathon Barbaree wanted McMillan in an Anderson uniform. The AEBL Girlz product averaged 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in her debut campaign with the Skyhawks – one that saw her team qualify for the SCISA 4A tournament quarterfinals.

Speaking of in-state recruiting, the latest program to extend an offer in the direction of Lucas was from the Palmetto State – College of Charleston, to be exact. The CP3 Flames product spent her May live period at Nike Session 2 in New Orleans. Lucas would lead her 4A South Pointe team to another solid season as the Stallions made another appearance in the Upper State championship game. She played in all 29 games in 2025-26 for a South Pointe team that finished 26-3 and went a perfect 12-0 against region foes. Lucas averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 steals, 5.3 assists and 2.9 steals per contest last season.

Wolf is a multi-sport athlete who also plays flag football in addition to what she gets accomplished on the basketball court. She led her 5A Fort Mill team to a 15-13 record plus a mark of 9-3 against regional adversaries. Wolf would play in all 28 games last season for the Yellow Jackets while averaging 13.5 points per game. She has worn the Lady Attack Elite 17U uniform throughout this travel season.

Walker has built a decorated career at 4A North Augusta. In the three seasons she has played at the varsity level with the Yellow Jackets, three have resulted in state championship victories – including last season. Such a resume will earn plenty of collegiate offers – such as when she was re-offered by Georgia Southern this past week. Walker played in all 29 games last season for a North Augusta team that lost only one game. She would average 17.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals per contest. That resume also includes MaxPreps South Carolina Player of the Year honors for 2025-26.

The offers are continuing to read like a who's who for one of the premier 2028 guards the Palmetto State has to offer. This past week alone, Pojani would secure offers from Radford, East Carolina, College of Charleston, Queens University and Elon. Winning a state championship – as Pojani did in 2025-26 with SCISA 4A First Baptist – along with averaging 22.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per contest will do wonders for one's recruitment. The same applies for when a prospect like Pojani plays in 35 of a team's 36 games as she did last season for the Hurricanes. Putting up crooked numbers throughout travel ball – as Pojani has done – will also boost one's number of offers.

Having a pair of state championships with 5A Berkeley – as Carter does – will certainly draw the attention of a coach such as Jeri Porter. What will also draw interest is when one leads their team to state championship glory with a 29-point performance as Carter did back in March against Greenville at Colonial Life Arena. The [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'] product averaged 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.9 steals per contest.

She adds this offer to others she received from Wake Forest, Kennesaw State, George Washington and Alabama since the high school season concluded. What a banner season it was for Cunningham as she not only guided the Stallions to another 4A Upper State championship but became South Pointe's all-time leading scorer – for either the girls or boys' programs.
Over the weekend, Murray and her 4A Wilson team participated in a team camp at Queens University. She is in the throes of her final travel season with Palmetto 76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite and put up more stellar numbers while sporting Tigers gold and purple. The rising Wilson senior played in 20 of the Tigers' 25 contests last season for a team that finished 20-5. She averaged 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game in 2025-26.

She played in all 28 games for a Gray Collegiate team that finished with a record of 22-6 and only dropped two region contests (both to defending state champion North Augusta). She played in all 28 games last season for coach Gregory Bauldrick's Redhawks which concluded the 2025-26 campaign with a 17-11 record. She played in 22 of 27 games last season for a 4A Camden team that finished with a record of 23-4 and advanced to the Upper State semifinals.
