2029 PGs WE WANT at the Freshman Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Freshman Showcase has been a Prep Girls Hoops staple for years. For many of these prospects, it's their first major showcase experience, and our mission is to make it memorable. Our showcase environment includes unprecedented media coverage, evaluations from our scouts, and an opportunity for these girls to prove they are top prospects in their class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In 2024, nearly 60 prospects attended, with [player_tooltip player_id='979174' first='Lucy' last='Young'] (Evan's MVP), [player_tooltip player_id='933008' first='Raquel' last='Walker'], [player_tooltip player_id='933030' first='Emersen' last='Holder'], [player_tooltip player_id='980249' first='Jayna' last='Burmeister'] (Danyle's MVP), [player_tooltip player_id='859826' first='Paisley' last='Stephens'], and [player_tooltip player_id='933010' first='Jana' last='Honeycutt'] receiving All-Showcase First Team selections. Danyle and I collaborated to build a First Team, Second Team, Third Team, and All-Defensive Team. A unique feature of PGH Showcases is that EVERY prospect receives a post-event evaluation by our scouts and live coverage at our events. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This event puts you and your high school on our radar for the upcoming winter season. It's your chance to compete for a place in our Top 50 Watch List in September. Kylee is a relentless player and that effort makes her effective on both ends. She flies in transition to score layups and has excellent finishing control at the rim. Kylee creates turnovers on defense and is a strong rebounder. She makes smart reads and her selfless style helps the team succeed. She was named as a top PG by one of the coaches and described as the toughest player on the court with elite ball-handling. Elaina was recognized as co-MVP of her team and sounds like a two-way player with all the qualities of a special talent at the Varsity level. She scans the floor to find open teammates and finishes under control. Her explosive drives, tough finishes, confident three-point shooting, twitchy ball-handling, and all-out defense made her one of my favorite prospects to watch during the 15U games. She attacks gaps to score layups and creates space with a bag full of combination dribbles. She's a shifty point guard with nasty handles who can create space, finish shots from difficult angles, and bury jumpers.
