Preseason Division 1 All-State Second-Team and Honorable Mentions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The season is starting in just over a month, and I'd like to begin releasing my preseason All-State Teams this week, starting with the D5 All-State teams and progressing to the D1 All-State Teams on Friday. I'll have a first-team and second-team, along with honorable mentions in each division around the state. Before the season starts, I will also update rankings in the 26, 27, and 28 classes, as well as the Watch List for the class of 2029.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='533065' first='Rowan' last='Klesmit'], sr., Neenah</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Klesmit had a breakout season in her junior year at Neenah. She is a talented scorer who was among the elite in the Fox Valley last winter for the Rockets. Her ability to create space with the ball in her hands allows her to score from anywhere on the floor. She will be among the leading scorers in the FVA again in her senior season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='751287' first='Tessa' last='Bryan'], jr., Waunakee</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bryan is among the most athletic lead guards in the state and can orchestrate an elite offense at Waunakee this fall. She can fly up and down the floor on the offensive end and make plays in transition for herself and her teammates. She is a kid who could help her team reach the state tournament for the first time in a long time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='888387' first='Lana' last='Mannetter'], soph., Westosha Central</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The sophomore is a player who missed most of her first season due to an injury, but her talent was clear. Whenever the ball was in her hands, she was a threat to get to the basket and make plays at the rim. She has the size to exploit mismatches around the floor. Mannetter has the potential to be a breakout star at the D1 level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1173395' first='Norah' last='Kling'], soph., Eau Claire Memorial</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Eau Claire native is a talented athlete who excels at any sport she chooses to do. She was an elite defender from the first time she stepped onto a high school floor. As the season went on, she got more comfortable on the offensive end of the floor. She was a threat to score 30 at any point on the offensive end.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='764903' first='Ava' last='Van Vonderen'], jr., Kimberly</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Kimberly wing helped lead her Kimberly team to win the Division 1 State Championship last winter. Van Vonderen also knocked down a game-tying three-pointer to send the Sectional Title game into overtime last winter.
