Anadarko enters Friday night contest with a 6-1 record with only lost coming to ranked Weatherford. Anadarko has great size inside the paint area lead by Northeastern signee [player_tooltip player_id='429406' first='Ivory' last='Miller'] inside. [player_tooltip player_id='1054460' first='Taejah' last='Hightower'] at 5'9 and [player_tooltip player_id='654559' first='Heaven' last='Haywood'] at 5'10 add a bunch of height at the guard spots which could make it a tough match up Newcastle enters Friday night also 6-1 with their only lost coming to Class 5a Shawnee. Newcastle has a mixed team of experienced guard play and young post play. The point guard position is held down by Whitney Wollenberg. The addition of Lilly Taliferro a shooter from Elgin give the Lady Racers a outside threat. The inside game of the Lady Racers is strong with Zarayia Sims and [player_tooltip player_id='913552' first='Kalani' last='Kindred']. Kalani a 2028 prospect earned All Tournament last weekend in her first High School Tournament

Norman @ Norman North Who does not like a crosstown match up right before break? If you did a power of schedule Norman's schedule would be right up there. Norman is looking to rebound after a district lost to PC North whom they just beat 3 days earlier in tournament play. Norman is lead by Kansas signee [player_tooltip player_id='309980' first='Keeley' last='Parks'] who earned MVP this past weekend. Norman has strong guard play this season handling the PG spot is [player_tooltip player_id='315220' first='Halyn' last='Browning'] who earned All Tournament last weekend. Norman other guards are [player_tooltip player_id='773877' first='Gabrielle' last='Lee'], [player_tooltip player_id='486424' first='Avery' last='Ragland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='556314' first='Blythe' last='Crawley'] who had just committed to Southern Arkansas Impressive hustle plays by senior small forward [player_tooltip player_id='525636' first='Destinee' last='Deer'] helps the Lady Tigers with their inside game. Norman North North enters at 3-3 but 3 of those losses have came to 3 teams that are ranked in top 3 of their classes. Norman North is lead by a pair of D1 signees. The first [player_tooltip player_id='309986' first='Seleh' last='Harmon'] who is committed to Pepperdine University. The 5'10 combo guard earned All Tournament last weekend while also achieving the 1000 point milestone. [player_tooltip player_id='310158' first='Olivia' last='Watkins'] a 6'1 small forward brings versatility to Norman North. A Combo forward that can knock down the 3 or attack the rim. Impressive play by inside power forward 5'10 [player_tooltip player_id='662103' first='Lydia' last='Plummer'] makes Norman North tall 2-4 spots.

Madill #10 Class 4a vs Weatherford #13 Class 4a A top match up in Class 4a that could have the winner moving up into the Top 10. Honestly I have not seen either team and look forward to seeing these two teams play. Madill enters Friday night with a 6-1 record only lost coming to Class 5a ranked Durant. They are lead by freshman sensation [player_tooltip player_id='957120' first='Elexis' last='Holmes']. Elexis at 6'1 is a double double machine every time she touches the court. The freshman has already received offers from power schools like Arkansas. I know coach Holmes posted still missing several pieces of the puzzle. I am assuming one of those pieces is [player_tooltip player_id='578032' first='E'Niyah' last='Holmes'] The 2026 6'0 combo guard has been out most of the preseason so not sure when her return is expected. Weatherford is a unknown to me but as they continue to climb up the rankings in Class 4a I will be finding out who the impact players are. They enter the game with a 5-1 record. Wins over Anadarko ranked #2 in Class 3a and Cassady another ranked team in Class 3a. Only loss coming last week to Community Christian in finals of CCS tournament. Community Chrisitian among the favorites to be in the hunt for Class 3a Gold Ball. A win this weekend could move them into the Top 10

Lincoln Christian #1 Class 4a vs Edmond North Class 6a Great match up of two teams that could be holding the Gold Ball at the end of the season in their respecting classes. Lincoln Christian a very talented and deep team that could play among the best of any class. [player_tooltip player_id='572965' first='Maddi' last='Stewart'] that is on almost every college coaches wish list runs and controls the tempo at the point guard spot. Name a potion and Lincoln has depth. Junior guards [player_tooltip player_id='572964' first='Alexis' last='Leyva'] and Kaylie Atkinson are must find shooters. Missouri State signee Aubrey Hopkins a versatile player that can play wing or inside. Lincoln is a focused group that has Gold Ball on their mind. Edmond North Edmond North will enter Friday game as a back to back contest. Edmond North plays Thursday night in a district contest with Sand Springs. Edmond North for the past few years does not rebuild but instead reload. [player_tooltip player_id='525640' first='Grace' last='Jackson'] University of Nebraska Kearney signee is a tough physical combo guard that brings it every play. [player_tooltip player_id='578026' first='Johari' last='Hall'] who got everyone radar after a outstanding summer is a versatile player who can mix it up inside but athletic enough to guard in the half court defense. The addition of [player_tooltip player_id='550706' first='Skylar' last='Durley'] brings that combo forward the Lady Huskies are use to going to when needing a bucket

Oologah-Talala #12 Class 4a @ Locust Grove #6 Class 4a Oologah-Talala comes in with a 7-0 record beating ranked Fairland for tournament championship last weekend. Oologah is led by forward [player_tooltip player_id='572982' first='Kailee' last='Seaba'] who is potential double double player every time she touches the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='847025' first='Ashtyn' last='Warford'] a high scorer in several game this season also provides strong rebounding as well Sharp shooter Kalley Hogue is a must find on the outside. Other players who have impact are Macey Callico and Allie Charloe A good win against a Top 10 who be a big boost right before break. Locust Grove enters the contest with a 5-1 record with the only lost coming to Class 4a #4 Fort Gibson in second game of the season. When speaking of Locust Grove roster the first thing you will hear about is the 6'0 combo of [player_tooltip player_id='572961' first='Hannah' last='Bond'] and [player_tooltip player_id='593784' first='Olivia' last='Stokes']. [player_tooltip player_id='572961' first='Hannah' last='Bond'] a 6'1 power forward that has good footwork and great finisher around the rim. [player_tooltip player_id='593784' first='Olivia' last='Stokes'] also 6'0 is a combo forward that can score. Both have drawn big time interest from colleges. Olivia just recently received an offer from Oklahoma State. Again when I say Locust Grove may be the tallest team in Class 4a it is possible. When some list 6'0 at post Locust Grove outstanding guard [player_tooltip player_id='574241' first='Claire' last='Hooker'] stands at 5'11. Locust Grove has the height and players to make a run for the Big House come March.
