Class 4a Area 2 Preview

The Lady Trojans picked up early wins over powerhouse programs like Prestonwood Christian (Texas), Fort Smith Northside (Arkansas) and Life Prep (Kansas) Loaded with six seniors and a top ranked freshman they are looking get back to the finals <strong>Madill</strong>: A 22-1 record with 8 of those wins over Top 20 teams this season. Single loss coming early in the season to Durant. Madill played a majority of the season without a key player who returned towards the end of the season. A very athletic team that height and great guard play. <strong>Tuttle: </strong>Has 6 quality wins over Top 20 teams this season. Five of their losses have came to ranked teams as well. A well balanced young team that changes defenses on a fly. Tough schedule may have prepared them for a upset. <strong>Mcloud: </strong>4 wins against ranked teams and all 5 losses have been to ranked teams showing that Mcloud has a tough schedule. Quick guards and height on defense could make it tough to score against them. A team that has the tools to send someone home. <strong>Ada:</strong> A team that came on late with the addition of a return an an elite guard. Guard play along with an up and coming post play makes Ada a team to keep an eye on. <strong>Ardmore:</strong> A team that has been ranked in the Top 20 all season. A veteran team that gained a great boost with a very talented freshman. Finished the season strong with big wins over Community Christian and North Rock Creek. <strong>Purcell:</strong> A senior lead team that has played a very strong schedule in preparation of making a run in the playoffs. A team that is playing good at the right time of the year. Winning 6 out of their last 7 games. <strong>Chickasha: </strong> Chickasha has picked several wins against ranked teams this season. A team that has height and enough scrappy guard play that can find a way to win some games in the playoffs. <strong>Idabel: </strong> Do not let the 12 losses fool you this team has played 9 ranked teams this season plus the tough tournament in Arkansas. The defending 3a champions do have experience guard play returning that can take over a game. <strong>Bishop McGuiness</strong>: The record doe not represent the type of team the Lady Irish are.
