Edmond North Class 6a 6-0 Overall 4-0 District 2 The Lady Huskies looked good in their last game headed into break. The defense was aggressive and on point in their coverage in the press. Again, what else would you expect from a Papahronis coached team.
Muskogee Class 6a 4-0 Overall 3-0 District 3 Muskogee is a team that everyone has their eyes on to see firsthand how athletic this squad is. New coach, new system and definitely new players. Lady Roughriders are off to a great start in district play. Muskogee could be a hard team for opposing teams due to not much game tape going around having played only 4 games. This could be a great advantage heading into the tournament Key Players [player_tooltip player_id='578032' first='E'Niyah' last='Holmes'] the Lamar University commit brings great size and versatility to the court.
Alva Class 3a 5-2 Overall Ranked #3 Enter the tournament with a 5-2 record. Two of those wins came over highly ranked teams while the two losses were to Dale Class 2a #1 and Kingfisher Class 4a #6 This is not the first time I have seen Alva in this tournament as they played last season as well. Last year Alva suffered a setback due to an injury that took a while for Coach Jones to make adjustments. Alva is a program that does not shy away from competition as they will bring toughness no matter who is on the court. Key Players Kaelyn Woods can shoot the outside shot that makes things happen on the defensive end with tough play. Allison Blocker lefty shooter with deep range on offense and aggressive front court play on the press. [player_tooltip player_id='846985' first='Hadlee' last='Ohm'] senior center is force inside and does an excellent job at protecting the rim. Asia Blackledge moves great without the ball on both ends of the floor. Type of player that can give you a double double just playing hard.

Mustang Class 6a 4-2 Overall 2-1 District 1 The Lady Broncos got back in the win column before break after suffering a lost in the finals of the Joe Lawson Tournament in December. Mustang entered the season dealing with some injuries and an outstanding player coming back right before season kicked off after missing all pre-season. Making no excuses, Coach Bass might agree the Lady Broncos have enough fire power to make that run this season. Expect a healthier team as Coach Bass has had 14 days to make adjustments. Key players [player_tooltip player_id='396323' first='Mya' last='Alston'] the D1 Commit brings great size and length the guard spot. The scoring guard reached 1k mark in December. Freshman guard [player_tooltip player_id='1266518' first='Ajanae' last='Lumpkin'] has been a great spark off the bench for the Lady Broncos as well.

Hartshorne Class 2a 7-0 Overall Ranked #4 Hartshorne enters the tournament with a perfect 7-0 record including a win over #1 Class B Red Oak. Key Players [player_tooltip player_id='443065' first='Ti'heiress' last='Davis'] versatile combo guard that can take the defender off the dribble getting to the rim or can scrap like a small forward getting you those tough points in the paint. The SNU signee just knows how to play the game. [player_tooltip player_id='751174' first='Addison' last='Bernardi'] an outstanding shooter with range. A shooter that needs not room as she can rise up on a square up. Tough shooter off the bounce as well. A fun guard to watch play who is having a solid junior campaign Payton Vaughn
