Happy Halloween! Last night, the majority of everyone participated in this glorious spooky occasion. It got me thinking “on the hardwood, we have some formidable characters of our own that play basketball in Tennessee.” This state is filled with talented young ball players who strike fear in opponents every time they suit up. I mean coaches game plan for them and players understand it's a tall task against them. The collection of talent is pretty darn good on some squads around the state and it's newspaper worthy.

Put it this way, every school in our state has a star or best player. But to have two, three, or even four, smh, that's crazy. Think about the different scoring options a coach could have. Think about a kid's mind when they have to guard them. Challenging. Oh yeah! But if you are a true ballplayer, it's a challenge you would accept and as a spectator it would be fun to watch these girls play ball. If you coached talent like this, “Bless ‘em,” endless possibilities on the horizon.

In lieu of Halloween, I just thought of some ballplayers and schools who would strike fear in opponents based on the collection of talent . They aren't listed by whose best or most talented. Just simply names thrown together. In doing this, I thought about the collection of talent and how they would blend. Each squad is set to make a run at state contention in their perspective classification. This is not a slam against anyone if not listed, just girls who first come to mind. Like I said, every team has a best or star player. To have multiple kids who can be the leading catalyst for the night, it's simply amazing.

So below is the list of hoopers and schools. Like I said, no particular order. Also listed are NBA teams they could be. In conclusion just note, the young ladies who are listed are primed and ready to make a run at state contention. Opening day is around, so get your popcorn ready!
